Medieval Weapons
The Medieval time period was a very violent, riddled with warfare the quest for wealth and power was driven by a society fascinated with violence. Gigantic stone castles were built to act as power fortresses. The lands were subject to invasion leading to full blown wars, battles, and siege situations. Therefore their weaponry and battle tactics were ever evolving.
The weapons used during this time period varied from simple tools and farm adaptions to complex siege engines. The most common used weapons were daggers, axes, clubs and spears, while swords were generally reserved for knights and noblemen. Different weapons were used according to the rank and status of the solider.
